Course Description:

Unison™ Backup and Restore Administration is a technical instructor-led course designed to provide students with the ability to back up and restore a Unison cluster using standard Bytemobile Professional Services methodology.

Students will learn to back up all types of Unison nodes to an existing Jumpstart backup server. Students will also learn to configure the Jumpstart server to restore backup images to any node in the cluster.

The course includes frequent hands-on exercises to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Target Audience:

This course is designed for Bytemobile customers (external and internal) who need to back up and restore Unison nodes and who may be responsible for operations, administration and maintenance.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of the Unison Administration and Optimization Fundamentals (UAOF) course
  • Familiarity with networking concepts
