Unison ACCESS Mobile 4.0 Content Filtering Service Installation & Configuration

Course Description:

Unison™ ACCESS Mobile™ 4.0 Content Filtering Service Installation & Configuration is a two-day, technical instructor–led course designed to provide a clear understanding of the ACCESS Mobile solution. It describes the ACCESS Mobile 4.0 content filtering service and how it is deployed in a network within the Unison architecture. The course covers the Optimization Services Node (OSN) Monaco™ Edition and Cluster Manager software interaction and ACCESS Mobile operation, administration, and management using the command-line interface (CLI), the Cluster Manager CLI (CMCLI) and the web-based graphical user interface (GUI). Typical diagnostics and troubleshooting are also covered.

This course includes both lecture and hands-on lab exercises to ensure an optimized student learning experience.

Target Audience:

Bytemobile customers (external and internal) and partners who desire an understanding of ACCESS Mobile solutions and may be responsible for their installation, operations, administration, and maintenance.

Prerequisites:

  • UNIX/Linux and Windows knowledge
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN and TCP/IP networking concepts

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this training course, the student will be able to:

  • Provide an overview definition of the ACCESS Mobile solution, architecture, features, and functions
  • Understand how ACCESS Mobile 4.0 functions in network deployment scenarios
  • Implement content filtering in a lab environment
  • Define and construct rules that will be used for content filtering
  • Understand the ACCESS Mobile database and how to set up and implement redundancy, fail-over, and back-up and recovery
  • Verify, monitor and manage ACCESS Mobile installation and operation
  • Configure the ACCESS Mobile service and implement content filtering methods using the CLI, CMCLI commands and the web-based GUI
  • Perform hands-on lab exercises
