The Widget Bar application gives operators a way to embed their presence in subscribers’ mobile web experience by placing a customized toolbar with personalized applications and services at the top of all web pages served. This enables operators to regain consumers’ mindshare and become a key influencer of their browsing behavior. The Widget Bar provides the ultimate personalization platform, as it dynamically interacts with authorized applications to display up-to-date information that is targeted and relevant to each user. Innovative service opportunities include local news and weather, enhanced search, service notifications, and social networking. The content of the Widget Bar can be customized by the operator and also by the user when authorized by the operator. Web Fidelity Ad Insertion
The Ad Insertion application integrates with an operator’s preferred ad network to deliver targeted ads with web pages. Information is provided in real time to the ad network to facilitate ad targeting — both contextual, based on the website currently visited, and behavioral, based on the user’s past browsing behavior.
