Bytemobile Promotes Bob Riccitelli to Vice President and General Manager, North America

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 24, 2010

Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in mobile internet solutions, today announced the promotion of Bob Riccitelli to vice president and general manager, North America. In his new and expanded role, Riccitelli will be responsible for sales and account management throughout North America as well as sales strategy and operations across all geographic regions.

Riccitelli joined Bytemobile in 2009 as vice president, Worldwide Sales Strategy and Operations. In this capacity, he has managed the company’s global sales pipeline, led the structuring of strategic multi-year/multi-product deals, and overseen all commercial aspects of customer supply agreements.

“The expansion of Bob Riccitelli’s role reflects both the breadth and depth of his career experience and the value of his contributions to Bytemobile,” said Hatim Tyabji, executive chairman of Bytemobile. “With operators’ network capacity challenges mounting and a host of new bandwidth-hungry devices entering the market, North America is a strategic geography for our web and video traffic optimization solutions. Bob’s 30 years of sales management experience in the telecommunications industry and intimate knowledge of Bytemobile’s global customer base make him the logical choice to lead our North American sales team.”

Before joining Bytemobile, Riccitelli was vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), at RealNetworks, responsible for growing the company’s wireless operator business across multiple markets. Prior to RealNetworks, he spent 27 years at Nortel Networks, leading North American sales and managing large strategic accounts such as AT&T. Riccitelli holds a M.A.S. degree in Telecommunications Management and Policy from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
