Bytemobile Names Andy Missan as Vice President and
General Counsel

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., - July 23, 2009

Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in mobile internet solutions for wireless network operators, today announced the appointment of Andy Missan as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Reporting to Executive Chairman Hatim Tyabji, Missan will be responsible for all aspects of Bytemobile’s global legal affairs.

“Andy Missan brings to Bytemobile a broad range of legal and operational management experience in the mobile internet ecosystem,” said Tyabji. “We look forward to his contributions to the next phase of our growth, not only as general counsel but also as a member of our leadership team.”

Missan’s career spans more than 20 years of corporate legal experience in the mobile, digital media, internet services, and software industries. Before joining Bytemobile, he served as general counsel at MobiTV, Danger, ReplayTV, and Egreetings Network. His experience at MobiTV and Danger included the structuring and negotiation of complex business agreements with tier-one wireless network operators throughout North America, Latin America and Europe. Previously, he held legal management positions at Sony Music Entertainment, BMG Entertainment/RCA Records and WebTV Networks.

Missan also operated his own outsourced general counsel practice, providing legal consulting services to both start-ups and publicly held companies. He began his career in the litigation department of the law firm of Sidley & Austin in New York.

Missan is a member of the State Bar of both California and New York. He holds a J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
