Bytemobile's WebGate Service Nominated for GSMA Global Mobile Award

Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in mobile internet solutions for network operators, today announced that its next-generation mobile internet gateway application, WebGate™ Service, has been nominated for the GSMA Global Mobile Awards 2009, in the category of “Best Service Delivery Platform.” The awards are held each year at the GSM Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and are considered to be the premier recognition for products and services in the global mobile industry.

The GSMA Global Mobile Award for “Best Service Delivery Platform” recognizes the contribution that middleware and software application developers — as well as a variety of Value Added Service providers — make to enhancing the service delivery environment and attracting new mobile users. The winning technology must coexist in harmony with existing systems and complement the service offerings already available, in order for operators to implement a seamless transition in service roll-out, as well as a seamless user experience.
