Bytemobile Signs ITL as Reseller for Asia Pacific

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and SINGAPORE - June 20, 2006

Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in optimized Internet protocol (IP) services for mobile data networks, today announced a reseller partnership with Interactive Technology Limited (ITL), a major telecommunications solutions provider based in Hong Kong. Under the terms of the agreement, ITL will provide a distribution channel for Bytemobile solutions to mobile network operators in several key markets across the Asia-Pacific region.

The reseller agreement with ITL follows Bytemobile's appointments of general managers for China and Japan, as announced on February 7, 2006, and for Southeast Asia, as announced on May 17, 2006. The company's customer base in Asia Pacific currently includes leading operators such as China Mobile, NTT DoCoMo, Vodafone Australia, and Willcom.

“We expect our agreement with ITL to extend Bytemobile's market reach and build strong customer relationships throughout the region,” said Michael Conley, vice president of Asia Pacific at Bytemobile. “With more than a decade's experience in the industry, ITL has supported more than 30 operators. The company's skill set, experience base and regional focus are highly complementary with Bytemobile's goal of delivering measurable and lasting value to customers.”

“We are pleased to add Bytemobile's optimization solutions to our portfolio of mobile infrastructure offerings,” said Raymond Cheung, chief executive officer of ITL. “The wireless data markets in both developed and emerging countries in Asia Pacific are growing rapidly, driven by large populations of mobile consumers who are eager to access the Internet and other multimedia content from handsets and laptops. As a result, we view this as a strategic partnership with clear benefits for both companies.”

According to Gartner Dataquest, the market for mobile data services in Asia Pacific is expected to reach an estimated $35 billion by 2009, up from $15.7 billion in 2005. Morgan Stanley estimates that the region claimed 41% of the world's mobile subscribers and 36% of its Internet users in 2005.
