Joining Bytemobile are Michael Conley as the vice president, Asia Pacific; Scot Briggs in the new role of vice president, sales operations; and Patty Downey as vice president and general counsel.
“Bytemobile’s global customer base has grown to more than 60 carriers who rely on our proven mobile data optimization solutions, making us the world leader in the field,” said Steve Livingston, Bytemobile’s executive vice president for worldwide sales and marketing. “Now we’re completing the transition from an early stage company to a mature, growing, revenue-producing and profitable company. We are expanding on several fronts: reaching new geographic markets, deploying new handset-based optimization solutions, broadening our scope of network services to include content filtering, content charging, and a new consolidated network architecture. As part of this transition, we’re broadening our executive team to build out our presence in Asia Pacific and to strengthen our operational control.”
Michael Conley, vice president, Asia Pacific, has 23 years’ experience focused on that region, including 17 years living in Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, he received a fellowship and pursued graduate studies at National Chengchi University, Muchia, Taiwan, and holds an undergraduate degree in Chinese language and linguistics and business from Georgetown University.
“The market for wireless data throughout Asia is growing rapidly, and Bytemobile’s solutions are a win-win for both consumers and operators alike,” said Conley. “We will be focused on strengthening our partner network to drive new levels of growth, service and success.”
Scot Briggs joins Bytemobile as vice president, sales operations with over 25 years of experience as a high-tech senior executive, leading and managing sales operations, manufacturing, distribution, customer service and repair operations, and finance in the wireless handheld, network, and business hardware and software industries.
