Bytemobile Appoints Adrian Hall as Vice President of Business Development

Hall's Proven Expertise in Building Key Partnerships Positions Company for Significant Growth

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - September 25, 2002

Bytemobile, the company dedicated to accelerating the growth of the wireless data market through significantly improving the user experience and operator efficiency, today announced the appointment of Adrian Hall as vice president of business development. In his new position, Hall will oversee business development, driving both domestic and global partnerships. Prior to joining Bytemobile, Hall directed business development at Visto Corporation, where he developed and managed strategic partnerships with such companies as Handspring, Kyocera, IBM and Oracle.

"Adrian brings the type of leadership and track record needed to continue our aggressive push into key global markets," said Hatim Tyabji, Bytemobile's executive chairman. "His knowledge of the wireless sector, strategic approach and proven ability to execute made him the clear choice to lead our business development efforts."

Hall brings to Bytemobile more than 14 years of demonstrated success as an international sales, business development and marketing executive in the IT and wireless industries. Before his tenure at Visto, Hall was vice president of business development for FlyteComm. He also spent 12 years at Hewlett-Packard, based in both Europe and North America. There he held a variety of global sales director positions, including director of North America Alliance Sales and director of Solutions Marketing where he had responsibility for wireless products, sales and services strategy. Hall holds a bachelor of arts in business and finance with a specialization in marketing from Brunel University.
