Senior Technical Instructor/Technical Support
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Present training curriculum to live audiences
  • Deliver high-quality training classes on Bytemobile products to Bytemobile customers, partners and internal staff
  • Acquire a deep understanding of all supported Bytemobile products and interfacing networking equipment
  • Travel to Bytemobile customer locations
  • Work with the Technical Support Team to provide Answer Level One Technical Questions when not teaching

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years’ instruction experience in a networking/technology environment; international training experience preferred
  • Minimum three years’ experience with TCP/IP routing and networking
  • Strong understanding of and experience with UNIX (Linux and/or Solaris) administration
  • Intimate knowledge of internet technology and operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong motivation and flexibility
  • Ability to work successfully both as part of a team and independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Bulletproof positive attitude when working under pressure to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Knowledge in any of the following areas a plus: VLANs, VPN, GRE, firewalls, NAT, load balancing, OSPF, RIP, and BGP
