Senior Release Engineer (Mountain View, CA)

Responsibilities:

  • Take Bytemobile’s automated build environment to the next level
  • Determine the needs of the engineering organization and lead an effort to design and implement a system that meets those requirements, which may include
    • Integration with an automated test framework
    • Support for multiple platforms and products
    • On-demand builds by the development and quality assurance organizations
    • Enforcement of build entrance criteria
  • Organize and maintain source code
  • Build release and product patches
  • Assist with development in integration activities

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent
    • Five to 10 years of industry experience
    • Experience in Perforce administration, user support and integration with other third-party tools
    • Perl experience
    • Experience with Solaris, Linux and Windows
    • ClearCase knowledge a plus
    • Experience with multi-platform code bases a plus
    • MySQL experience a plus
