Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Patras, Greece)
The successful candidate will work with a talented team within Bytemobile to ensure product quality. The candidate must possess a dedication to the quality of the products released and the processes employed by the Engineering organization. Product quality ranges from participating in requirements definition and design to verification that the product meets customer requirements. Process quality ranges from reviewing documentation to defining process improvements in order to make the organization as effective as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Define the strategies and schedules for testing releases
- Automate test cases
- Formulate test plans and detailed test cases
- Execute test cases
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks
- Review requirements and design to ensure quality and testability and to provide a system-oriented view of the product
- Review and verify customer documentation
- Ensure that product requirements are met
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
- Experience with Solaris, Linux and Windows
- At least one year of experience with Perl and/or Python
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, in both Greek and English
- Team player
- Military obligations fulfilled (or deferred until December 2009)
Desired Qualifications:
- Industry experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Software development experience
- TCP/IP programming
