To meet the rapidly growing needs of the network capacity management space, Bytemobile is looking for a highly talented and motivated Country Manager, India, Sales and Business Development.


How You Will Add Value:

  • Manage Bytemobile's India regional growth strategy and execution

What You Will Own:

  • Meet the company's revenue objectives, quarterly and annually for the territory:
    • Execute agreed annual and quarterly key sales and delivery objectives
    • Track pipeline; develop and communicate forecasts
    • Develop established accounts and support new business sales activities
    • Provide structured feedback to Bytemobile product, marketing and technical teams concerning customer issues, needs and priorities relevant to Bytemobile products and services
  • Manage individual team members by leading and motivating to ensure maximum performance levels and employee satisfaction
  • Develop and manage channels to maximize performance on sales, collections and support
  • Develop and execute a strategy to position Bytemobile products as leaders in the wireless infrastructure market
  • Create and execute annual business plans to effectively integrate with company plans and operations
  • Analyze competitive offerings and create appropriate responses
  • Maintain a high degree of understanding of the product line and ensure that company strategies reflect customers' needs
  • Engage with key customers and channels at the executive level
  • Oversee deal negotiation with customers and strategic partners
  • Understand customer needs and the customer value chain
  • Structure and negotiate deals

What You Will Bring:

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
  • Engineering or Computer Science degree a plus

Years of Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years' successful sales experience in telecommunications

Experience and Skills

  • Senior director-level experience, with extensive contacts and relationships at all levels among Indian mobile operators; recognized and credible at C level
  • Aptitude for building new business and managing existing accounts, with experience selling complex infrastructure solutions to mobile operators
  • Proven track record of big-ticket US$1 million+ deals
  • Capable of identifying and leveraging third parties to secure deals with mobile operators
  • Comfortable dealing with technical and commercial contacts at the mobile operator
  • Ability to build sustained customer and partner relationships based on trust and delivery of commitments
  • Strong conceptual understanding of mobile data communications
  • A go-getter, assertive, with tremendous energy; a motivated self-starter who leaves no stone unturned to achieve results
  • Confidence in consultative selling skills
  • Ability to operate and get things done in a very dynamic company environment
  • Understanding of early-stage companies and flexibility to change as the company learns and grows
  • Ability to contribute constructively to company planning and prioritization
  • Effective at working in matrix teams and sharing resources
  • Ability to manage sales professionals to achieve assigned goals
  • Proven success in penetrating markets and developing new business
  • Strong collaborative team player and leader

  • Ability to understand and maintain credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
